Our very own teacher, Mary Kern was also named Best of the Best Teacher in 2019. Millville Day Care’s Humble Beginnings

Starting with just one caretaker and three children in a church basement, Millville Day Care opened for business in 1968. It was originally opened by Elizabeth Feller who stayed on as the school’s director until she was 92 years old. Through the years, the day care grew, eventually outgrowing its basement days and moving into what is now the East building on our current grounds in 1984. The West building was added in 1993 as the school continued to grow, with an addition added to this building in 2003. This is the same year the school began collaboration with the ABBOTT program. What started with three children in a church basement has now grown to include over 280 students from ages 3 weeks to 5 years old.
